Do you do resolutions? I don't, really. I used to secretly resolve to end the new year in better shape, with clean closets and a perfect manicure but then the year would intervene and those things didn't always happen. The last few years I have had a word of the year and have tried to concentrate on what I want to change in my life when choosing the word.I focus on my intention and what I want to change in my life. Since things have gotten pretty busy the past few years with work and the girls getting older my word this year is 'less.' I think I can handle less clutter, less forgetting things, less over-booked days. Then again, my husband pointed out that this could also mean less fancy coffee drinks, less surprise dinner guests and less time at my studio table.
Since I think intentions are pretty valuable, I am going to go with my version of less!
