Good Morning! It is the second day of March, a month that will see us transition from cold and blustery to warm and balmy. Well, at least that is what I have heard. From my window it looks like bluster all the way.
March is my birthday month and also the birthday month of so many friends. There are myriad ways to spend your birthday, of course. Some friends have big parties with treats and music, some have romantic dinners, others prefer a bit of time alone. My preferred birthday activity is a picnic on a bright warm day, blanket spread on the ground, sun in the sky. Since I won't get that this year I may try to carve out a long day inside. I'd love to spend a long stretch working on crafty projects with my daughters and have delicious foods magically appear when they were hungry. We'd have the exact number of purple beads needed for projects, our needles would thread themselves and the glue gun would not burn anyone. Oh, I think I will add a never-empty fancy coffee drink to that little fantasy-why not, it's my birthday!
