March 23, 2010: this week's news

Hello-

You may know that this business is a family business. My husband and I own and work in our stores and are honored to have the support of a community of creative people both as customers and staff. As small business owners we have always worked to create beautiful, inspiring stores for our customers and a living for our family. It is not always easy, but we love the challenges and most of all, the people we meet in our day. All this makes our current choice even harder. We have made the decision to close Panopolie, our North Raleigh store. We will focus our energies on Ornamentea.  We will be expanding the inventory at Ornamentea to accommodate some of the merchandise from Panopolie and you will see many of your favorite faces and classes at our downtown store as well. Our final day at Panopolie will be April 30th.

Crafty events for you this week:

Try-It Tuesday today with me at Panopolie today and you will make Flower-Power pin that is bright and springy. Even on the coldest and grayest of days, this bloom will make you smile.
All buttons will be 25% off all day to help you make lots of blossoms. It's just $2 a Pin.See all the details here.

Original, one of a kind earwires and findings make your jewelry designs truly custom. We'll show you a simple but unusual ear finding that looks great unadorned but is perfect for showing off beads or charms. Come make a pair for just $2 on Thursday night.  Click the link above to see a picture...
