March 30, 2010: this week's news

Hey there!
Ahh, this week I am extra, extra thankful for all the wonderful customers we have here in beady-land. Your emails, phone calls and facebook posts have made me laugh and cry. Thank you! It is good to be Queen Bee!

(and if you are confused, go here and read the news...)

I have spent a week trying to be out-of-doors as much as possible. We have a new rope swing in our back yard and the warm weather means I can work on crafty projects on the porch with bird song in my ears. Ahh...I love this little window of time when North Carolina is Eden. Soon enough we'll have yellow pollen goop everywhere and mosquitoes will be trying to borrow my pliers. They never give them back.

See you this week!

Crafty fun for you:

Try-It Tuesday today with me at Panopolie today and I will show you how to make these sweet little wrapped bead caps. This is a nice technique if you don't like to cut head pins! We'll also have 20% off all base metal head pin packages all day. It's just $2 a pair to make your earrings.See all the details here.

I love this simple ring idea that is great for women or men. You can learn how to use a ring mandrel and ring sizers while making this wrapped ring. Come make a ring for just $2 on Thursday night. From 6:30-8:30 Thursday at Ornamentea.

We are sad but excited about this change in our business and I look forward to seeing you all in person this spring.
