We are having a great start to the summer here at the store. Our work table is buzzing with folks making lots of fancy jewelry for their summer soirees. Big trends include dramatic necklace with layers and layers of chain, ribbon-tied chunky stone necklaces and lots and lots of filigree earrings. And the brides! Oh my...I have to say I have seen some really, really amazing bridal jewelry come together on our work table in the last week or so. We had one couple come in and make her wedding jewelry (lovely Swarovski pearl three strand necklace) and all their bridesmaids jewelry (aqua blues in crystals with silver filigree) and even jewelry for both their moms and grandmoms. Mr. Groom was having a great time looping wire and stringing beads!

KidsWork Wednesday. Bring your 5-12 year old in for a project or two every Wednesday and you can enjoy a few peaceful moments watching your child create something new while you get a few minutes to finish up something you've been working on. Every Wednesday from 2:00-5:00, all projects $2.
