Charming Hoop Earrings
Create beaded hoop earrings with pre-made hoops and a bit of wire twisting. These forward-facing hoops are the perfect place to show off charms or even a message.
Ingredients:
- 2 plated hoops- 2 French wires
- Charms
- 6mm round jump rings to attach charms
- 44 round glass beads, 6mm
Tools:
- Round nose pliers- Chain nose pliers
1. Using chain nose pliers attach jump rings to charms. Set charms aside.
2. Thread 10 glass beads onto a hoop. Alternate threading charms and beads until you have threaded three charms onto the hoop. Thread an additional 10 beads onto the hoop. Note: if you are using more or less than 3 charms per hoop you will need to adjust the count of charms and beads. This may take a few tries to get the beads and charms centered on the hoop.
3. Using your chain nose pliers bend the end of the hoop upward at a 90 degree angle approximately 1/4 inch from the end of the last bead. Using your round nose pliers loop the entire end of the hoop to create a spiral loop. Attach the French wire to the spiral loop using your chain nose pliers. Repeat to create the second earring.
