Create a larger filigree pendant by attaching smaller pieces using jump rings. This pendant is flexible and lacey and the simple ball chain allows the filigree to stand out.
1. Using beading wire sew a single bead in the center of one dapped filigree square. Tie the beading wire securely on the back of the filigree with a square knot and trim the knot very closely. Repeat to attach a bead in the center of each of the 9 filigree squares.
2. Place two filigree squares back-to-back. Using your chain nose pliers open a jump ring and feed it through the corner of both of the filigree squares and close securely. Using this technique attach all the filigree squares to one another with jump rings at the corners to create the pendant.
3. Locate the center of the ball chain. Using the remaining jump ring attach the pendant to the center of the ball chain.
4. Feed a head pin through a ball chain connector and through a glass bead. Using your round nose pliers create a wrapped loop on the end of the head pin. Attach ball chain connector to the end of the necklace. Repeat on the other end of the necklace. Attach spring ring clasp and square jump ring to the wrapped loops.
