Designing Without Limits

Join author and bead artist Lorelei Eurto for an evening of design exploration focusing on mixed-media jewelry and art beads. She'll share her own design philosophy and methods of creating and class members will work on a mixed media necklace of their own design.

Bead artist Elaine Ray will be here with a special trunk show of her ceramic beads (including one-of-a-kind pieces) that class members can incorporate into their projects if they wish.

Artist Bio: Lorelei Eurto is the author of A Jewelry Accord (published by Interweave and due out soon). Ms. Eurto designs regularly for many of your favorite beading magazines. Her work is modern yet rooted in the familiar and feminine. Her work is noted for unusual mixtures of material and successful asymmetrical balance. The artist authors two blogs, Lorelei’s Blog and A Jewelry Accord (with Erin Siegel). She lives and works in upstate New York.

You may choose any color of supplies you prefer. Quantities for purchase in our stores may be more than what is needed for the class. Please have all supplies prior to class.

Supplies:

• You'll want to bring that unfinished project that needs a bit of a push, and that one that you finished but never quite got right. Bring your favorite ...beads, your favorite stringing material and a few items you've been saving for just the right project. This could be their night!
