Lillian Jones

Lillian Jones is a jewelry artist who specializes in vitreous enamel. She is a self-taught artist who has worked for Black Mountain Silver, Ben Dyer Goldsmith, and Mary Ann Scherr Designs. She studied metalsmithing at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, fine art at the University of Chapel Hill, and completed a Master of Industrial Design degree at North Carolina State University College of Design. She is currently an active member of the Carolina Designer Craftsmen. You can see her work at www.enamellist.com.

Roller Printed Bracelet - Part I

Learn a new way to create intricate, reusable texture plates for soft metals using polymer clay and the roll mill. In session one of this two-part class Lillian will teach you the technique for making the print plates. Each student will then roll several pieces of metal that will be fabricated into link bracelet during session two.

Introduction to Enameling on Silver - Pendant

Have you longed to add color to your hand-built silver jewelry? This new offering will give you the basic knowledge to do just that. Nationally and locally acclaimed Enamel Artist, Lillian Jones is offering the first in a series of silver enameling classes. The classes will feature Thompson Enamels.
