Basic Bead Stringing Bracelet or Necklace

Directions:

  A-
String one crimp bead onto bead stringing wire.
     
  B-
String clasp onto the wire.
     
  C-
Feed end of the wire back through crimp bread to make a
loop.
     
  D-
Push up crimp bead towards clasp to make loop small.

     
  E-
Hold the crimp bead with bottom opening of the crimping pliers.
     
  F-
Squeeze down on the crimp bead with the pliers, flattening the crimp into a "c" shape
     
  G-
Turn the crimp 90 degrees and hold crimp with the top opening of the crimping pliers.
     
  H-
Squeeze down on the crimp again folding the "c" shape into a tiny bead.
     
  I-
String beads onto Beadalon wire towards clasp. Be sure to cover up tail end of wire
also.
     
  J-
When enough beads are strung to make a bracelet* or necklace** add another crimp bead and then the chain extender onto the wire.
     
  K-
Feed the end on the wire back through the crimp and a few extra beads to form a
loop
     
  L-
Pull the tail end to make loop small.
     
  M-
Crimp this crimp bead with the crimping pliers like steps E through H
   
 
     
  N-
To finish the bracelet or necklace, cut off the tail that is peaking out from between the beads with wire cutters. Enjoy your new jewelry!
     

*-The average length for a bracelet is 7.5" including the clasp. Test on your own wrist for your desired length.
**-The average length for a short necklace is 16" including the clasp. Test on your own neck for your desired length.
